Jonathan Roy McMicken, 39, Wyalusing, faces prosecution for DUI and several additional traffic violations, including operating a vehicle with a suspended driver's license. Police officers investigating a two-vehicle accident on Route 6 at Lime Hill on Jan. 16 charged McMicken for careless driving that resulted in a collision with a commercial vehicle.

McMicken, who incurred minor injuries in the crash, is alleged to have initially said that he was a passenger in the vehicle, but witnesses contradicted his account. The defendant submitted to a blood test, which yielded a BAC of .193.

Bret Allen Evans, 22, LeRaysville RR 2, faces prosecution for aggravated indecent assault and involuntary deviate sexual intercourse. The charges stem from three separate incidents between July 3 and Aug. 11, 2009, during which Evans, then 20, allegedly had sexual contact with a (then) 15-year-old girl. Evans was interviewed by police on Sept. 7, 2009, at which time he allegedly admitted to the offenses. Evans was released on $2,500 bail. His preliminary hearing is set for March 25.

Patricia Lee Firestine, 19, Sayre, faces prosecution for theft by deception, having allegedly written a bad check for a purchase at a store in Wysox Township on Aug. 10. After an unsuccessful attempt by the store owner to contact the defendant, the matter was turned over to the Bradford County District Attorney's Office. A preliminary hearing has been set for April 6.
