Michael Shaw, Sayre
Tyler Gable, 20, Waverly, NY, faces charges for theft and receiving stolen property for his alleged involvement in the removal of a large spool of aluminum wire taken from the Sayre Penelec building on Spring Street at 11:30 a.m. on June 27. Police indicated that Gable and additional suspects had to cut through a fence to get to the wire, which they then proceeded to roll on the ground along the adjacent railroad tracks and across a railroad bridge before abandoning it alongside the tracks on the other side of the bridge. Police apparently arrested Gable after interviewing another suspect, whose name has not yet been released. Gable’s preliminary hearing is set for Sept. 27.
Tina Marie Linsenmann, 23, Waverly, faces charges for DUI and driving with a suspended license after she allegedly backed into another vehicle in the parking lot of the Xtra Mart on Elmira Street in Sayre at about 5:40 p.m. on Aug. 8. The reporting officer suspected that Linsenmann was intoxicated and asked her to perform field sobriety tests, which she failed. A blood sample drawn at Robert Packer Hospital revealed a BAC of .08. The defendant faces a Sept. 20 preliminary hearing.
