Michael Shaw, Sayre
Patrick Allen Hodge, 40, Sayre, faces charges for aggravated indecent assault of a child, deviate sexual intercourse with a child, and corruption of minors after he allegedly had inappropriate physical contact with a boy whom he had been babysitting regularly, even though he was a registered Megan’s Law offender. The reported incident occurred at about 12:30 a.m. on Nov. 12. The mother of the child came home from work earlier than usual and entered through a sliding glass door at the rear of the residence to find her son “hiding” underneath a blanket between Hodge’s legs as he sat on the living room couch. The boy complained to his mother that his rear end was sore and his “butt was broken” and that “Patrick hurt him.” A subsequent physical exam indicated that the boy’s anal area appeared to have been probed. Hodge, who had been previously convicted of sexual offenses against a minor, was arraigned on $100,000 bail and scheduled for a Nov. 22 preliminary hearing.
Three DUI arrests were processed last week in Magisterial District 42-3-02.
