Joshua G. Perry, 21, Towanda RR 4, faces prosecution for retail theft for alleged offenses on July 21 at 7:06 p.m. at the Dandy Mini Mart in Monroeton. It is alleged that Perry pumped $5 in gasoline into his car and drove off without paying. His preliminary hearing date is Aug. 25.

     Brian Farrell, Towanda, faces prosecution for counts of theft by deception and writing bad checks to the Dandy Mini Mart in Monroeton. There were five checks totaling $240.83 written on a closed account between Sept. 19, 2003, and Jan. 18 of this year. His preliminary hearing date is Aug. 25.

     Keenan V. Brown, Rome RR 3, faces prosecution for theft by deception on July 22, 2002, at the Dandy Mini-Mart in Sayre. It is alleged that Brown obtained $36.87 in merchandise by writing a check, knowing it would be drawn on a closed account. His preliminary hearing date is Aug. 25.

     Thomas Carr, Columbia Cross Roads RR 2, faces prosecution for theft by deception and writing a bad check for alleged offenses on March 24 of this year at Hurley's Supermarket in North Towanda. It is alleged that Carr wrote a check in the amount of $26.21, knowing that the bank account on which it was drawn was closed. His preliminary hearing date is pending.
