Manchester allegedly committed the crimes while employed by the victim, accused of taking about 7,300 dosage units of Hydrocodone valued at $8,243.64. The specific quantities in tablets were in the following amounts as admitted by the accused: 2,160, 5,040 and 100 for a total of 7,300. She was arraigned on Feb. 21 after she allegedly confessed after receiving her Miranda rights.
Thomas William Casselbury, 41, Monroeton, faces two felony counts of failing to comply with requirements for sexual offenders under Megan's Law with respect to his address. It is alleged that Casselbury changed his address of record and was residing with a female party in the same general area. The law requires notification of change of address within 48 hours and Casselbury failed to do so, it is alleged, for more than nine months. His preliminary hearing date was March 9.
Kyle Mitchell Decker, 25, Monroeton, faces prosecution for burglary, theft and receiving stolen property for alleged offenses on Oct. 22, 2009, at a residence on Main Street in Monroeton. It is alleged that Decker entered the apartment at that location and removed items, including a safe. The value of items taken was estimated at $605 and included a Brinks safe, 30 cans of Labatts and Budweiser beer, a Barlow knife, Zippo knife, a necklace and several other items. His preliminary hearing date was March 9.
Nanette L. Fries, 45, Dushore, faces prosecution for writing a bad check in the amount of $205 to Shaffer's Feed Service in Monroeton on Dec. 30, 2010. Her preliminary hearing date is April 8.
Robert Stevens (no age given), Ulster RR 1, faces prosecution for writing a bad check in the amount of $3,050 to an individual in Lavon, TX. No other description of the nature of this transaction was given. His preliminary hearing date is April 8.
Gregory Scott Avery, 45, Horseheads, NY, faces prosecution for theft by deception and writing a bad check for alleged offenses on Nov. 24, 2010, in Towanda Borough. It is alleged that Avery wrote a check in the amount of $264.62 to the Ben Franklin Store in Towanda. There were not sufficient funds in his account at the time and he failed to respond to notices from the bank and contact by registered mail. His preliminary hearing date is April 8.
Jason Michael Thetga, 29, Towanda, faces prosecution for simple assault and harassment for alleged offenses on Feb. 8, at a residence in Towanda Township. Thetga is accused of striking a juvenile victim with an electric cord resulting in a cut to the right cheek of the victim. This was investigated by Children & Youth Services who notified state police. His preliminary hearing date is March 30.
Cody Cowley Hallmark, 20, Athens, faces prosecution for DUI, underage DUI and summary traffic violations for alleged offenses on Jan. 5 at 8:24 p.m. on Route 220 in Ulster Township. His BAC was reported at .149. He was also cited for driving in the wrong lane and careless driving. Charges were filed subsequent to a motor vehicle accident near Jones' RV Park. His preliminary hearing date is April 13.
Michael Henry Philipenko, 34, Forksville, faces prosecution for DUI, driving in the wrong lane and careless driving for alleged offenses on Feb. 12 at 1:20 a.m. on Route 220 in Albany Township. His BAC was reported at .206. He also faces a fine for driving without a seatbelt or restraint. His preliminary hearing date is March 30.
Caleb Lee England, 27, Towanda, faces prosecution for DUI, failure to signal entry into the traffic stream and driving without a seatbelt or restraint. The alleged offenses occurred at the intersection of the Merrill Parkway and Main Street in Towanda. His BAC was reported at .108. His preliminary hearing date is April 8.
