Tim Clark, Towanda
Laurinae Marie Conkling, 36, Ulster RR 1, faces prosecution for failure to comply with requirements for registration of sexual offenders. The accused had failed to provide change of address as required by Megan's Law. It is alleged she had a previous violation of this statute, raising the offense to a second-degree felony. Her preliminary hearing date was March 16.
Roger Dale Adams, 49, Andrews, NC, faces prosecution for obstructing administration of law, hindering apprehension or prosecution, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and criminal mischief for alleged offenses on March 7 shortly after 10 p.m. at the Towanda Motel Bar. It is alleged that the accused physically grabbed a Pennsylvania State Trooper by the jacket to prevent him from making the arrest of another individual in the bar. He continued to resist to the extent of wrestling with the trooper until he was injured after falling to the ground. He subsequently became "combative and disruptive" while being treated at Memorial Hospital in Towanda. His preliminary hearing date was March 16.
Thomas Zachery Stewart, 28, Robbinsville, NC, faces prosecution for simple assault and disorderly conduct for alleged offenses on Monday, March 7, at 10:07 p.m. at the Towanda Motel Bar. It is alleged that Stewart was one of several individuals (see preceding item) involved in a fracas at the bar, which necessitated police response. It is alleged he kicked another individual in the face. His preliminary hearing date was March 16.
Dusty Shawn Adams, 31, Marble, NC, faces prosecution for simple assault and disorderly conduct while engaging in fighting for alleged offenses on Monday, March 7, at 10:07 p.m. at the Towanda Motel Bar. It is alleged that Adams threw a barstool at another patron, resulting in injuries to the latter. It initially appeared that he was going to resist police by picking up a pool cue, but subsequently submitted when confronted with a taser. His preliminary hearing date was March 16.
Jamison Parker Sepelak, 23, Binghamton, NY, faces prosecution for DUI, fleeing or attempting to elude police and summary traffic violations for alleged offenses on Feb. 19 at 11 p.m. on Route 220 in Albany and Monroe Townships. It is alleged that the accused had measurable amounts of the components of marijuana and cannabis in his blood. He was also cited for failing to yield to another vehicle coming in another direction, driving in the wrong lane, driving at an unsafe speed, careless driving, reckless driving and driving without a seat belt. It is alleged that the accused continued to drive a substantial distance after a pursuing state police car activated lights and siren. His preliminary hearing date is April 20.
Aaron Reed Gehrels, 32, Porter, TX, faces prosecution for DUI and careless driving for alleged offenses on Thursday, Feb. 3, at 2:36 a.m. on Pratt Street in Towanda Borough. His BAC was determined to be .122. His preliminary hearing date is April 6.
Travis Dean Perry, 21, Wysox RR 2, faces prosecution for DUI, driving with a suspended license from a previous DUI arrest, reckless driving and driving on the wrong side of the road for alleged offenses on Thursday, Feb. 17, at 9:50 p.m. His BAC was reported at .139. His preliminary hearing date is April 13.
