Here’s a look at Wyalusing’s Troop 8 Boy Scout during their stay at Camp Brulé during the annual Polar Bear campout in January 1968. Congratulations to Debbie and Lanny Stethers of Camptown on the birth of a new baby girl, Emily Lara. She has two sisters, Karin and Melissa at home.
A group of interested persons met on April 1 to organize the Wyalusing Wrestling Club.
Seven area wrestlers participated in the AAU Mid-Atlantic Wrestling Tournament in Tunkhannock. They were: Chris Taylor, Mark Woodruff, Chris Ruhf, Joe Doss, Frank Repsher, Sam Bocchino and Mike Doss.
The fashion show held recently at the Windy Mill in Laceyville was a huge success. “Swing Into Spring” was presented by members of the Meshoppen-Laceyville Tyler Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
Wyalusing Rainbow Club selected new officers to head the organization for the upcoming year. Terry Keeney was elected president for a second term. Other officers include: Mike Kilmer, vice-president; Lynn Westover, secretary and Jean Reinhart, treasurer.
Cabins and summer homes in the Wilmot and Terry township areas have recently been hit by thieves.
