Fair Committee Grateful
I would like to thank everyone in the community that helped make two of my dreams come true. I started six years ago gathering donations for tables and benches so people could enjoy places to sit and have great conversations with old and new friends at the fair. That goal was achieved when there were 55 tables and 52 benches in place at the fairgrounds.
My second goal was to start much-needed repairs to our agribusiness barn. I started a five-year plan to complete this project. To date, we have completed new lights, new ceilings and all repairs on the barn roof in four years. Thanks to the community, Procter & Gamble, Chesapeake Energy and a few grants I applied for, the work is completed. If it was not for the great community that we have, I never would have completed this dream.
The Kiwanis Wyoming County Fair is very important to me. I always liked seeing everyone at the fair help make it a success. All the volunteers are greatly appreciated and I enjoy working with them all. I have decided that I am retiring from the Kiwanis Wyoming County Fair. I have worked as secretary for 12 years and have been involved for 20 years. I have enjoyed every part of the fair and I would like to thank you for your continued support of the Kiwanis Wyoming County Fair. I hope that your children and grandchildren will be able to enjoy our wonderful fair in the future. With your help we can make this possible.
Thank you everyone,
Deborah L. Kintner,
