Salvation Army Thanks Supporters
The Salvation Army would like to thank the local residents of Bradford County and surrounding communities for their support during the recent flooding.
During the flooding, the Salvation Army was able to provide the following to the residents of Bradford County:
Served from our mobile feeding units were 4,849 meals, 3,300 drinks and 1,743 snacks, 720 clean-up kits and 40 food boxes.
As of today we have assisted 122 families, 308 Individuals with clothing vouchers, Kmart vouchers and Dandy gas vouchers.
The Salvation Army would like to thank the private donors and the following businesses and organizations for their donations: Global Tungsten and Powders Corporation, Talisman Energy, Tioga Downs, Chief Oil and Gas, Williams Oil, Towanda American Legion, Bradford County Council of Republican Women, Bradford B&B Inn, Rainbow’s End Thrift Store, Connie’s Market, Hurley’s Market and the Wyalusing Fire Hall.
The Salvation Army will continue to provide emergency assistance to victims of the flooding. Individuals/families needing assistance are asked to contact The Salvation Army Service Extension Office at 570-265-5932 or stop by the office in the Career Link Building at 218 Main Street, Towanda.
