Edward B. James, 86
Edward came to Wilmot Township for 20 years with Frank Kelly. For ten years he has been coming to Gene and Janice Walkers' with Ray Eaby from Chester County and enjoyed hunting here.
He was the husband of Elizabeth James, with whom he shared 59 years of marriage.
Edward was employed by Unisys Corporation for more than 30 years.
He was a World War II veteran, serving as a military policeman. He fought in three major campaigns, was honorably discharged and returned home to his family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Sandra Kelley of Malvern; a son, Edward James of Downingtown; three grandchildren, Kelly McGuigan of Coatesville, Jennifer and Corey James of Downingtown and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 14 at the First Baptist Church of Malvern, 146 Channing Ave., Malvern.
