Jim was a lifetime member of St. Francis Xavier Church, Friendsville. He was a farmer, milk hauler, truck driver and sawmill owner and operator. He loved to reminisce and thoroughly enjoyed telling stories of those folks and times known from “the good old days” when life was simpler. Many of those stories involved humorous happenings. His recollections will be missed by all those interested in the local history.
The family wishes to acknowledge the kind care Jim received from Dr. Liu, Dr. Ramanujuan, and Dr. Jayaraman and their staffs and the nurses on Memorial 3. A special thank you to the home dialysis nurses Audrey, Marie, Carly, Maria, Monica, LeeAnn and Kim.
A funeral mass was celebrated at St. Brigid Parish/St. Francis Xavier Church on Wednesday, June 15, by Father Casimir Stanis. Burial followed in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy in memory of Jim may be made to Mom’s House, 770 Harry L. Drive, Johnson City, NY, 13790 or St. Brigid Parish, P.O. Box 75, Friendsville, PA 18818.
