Kenneth E. Kenny Brown, 55

Kenneth E. "Kenny" Brown, 55, of Homets Ferry, Wyalusing RR4, PA, passed away on Monday evening, Aug. 2, 2004 at his home, following an extended illness.

Born June 20, 1949 in Sayre, he was a son of Vionne "Bonnie" Hibbard Brown and the late Carl Edward Brown.

Kenny was a graduate of Towanda High School, Class of 1967 and following high school, was employed by Fontaine Weaving in Towanda until the business closed. He was employed by Procter & Gamble in Mehoopany for 25 years until his retirement. Kenny was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving are his wife, Marge Baker Brown, at home; his mother, Vionne "Bonnie" Brown of Athens; sons and daughter-in-law, Tyrone Brown of Rome, Shane and Kim Brown of Ulster RR1; a daughter and son-in-law, Carla and Dale Davidson of Monroeton; stepsons, Don Juckett and wife, Barb of Mehoopany, Tracy Woodruff and wife, Kristie of Wysox; stepdaughter, Lisa Pacino and husband, Paul of Braintree, MA; grandchildren, Greg and Amber, William and Kileigh, Alexis; step-grandchildren, Jessica, Brandon and R.J., Clayton and Reiss; brothers and sisters-in-law, Denny and Ruth Brown of Orlando, FL, Jeff and Grace Brown of Sheboygan, WI, Randy and Luella Brown of Burlington; his former wife, Connie Green of Rome; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Brown, on Sept. 25, 1984.

Family and friends attended graveside services on Wednesday, Aug. 4 at 11 a.m. at the Bradford County Manor, Luthers Mills with the Rev. James Donahoo, pastor of the Sayre Christian Church, officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of the Maryott-Bowen Funeral Home, Towanda. There were no calling hours.

The family suggests that memorial donations be contributed to the Guthrie Hospice, RR1, Box 154, Towanda, PA 18848 in Kenny Brown's memory.
