Kevin Hicks, of Lindale, Texas,
Kevin Hicks, of Lindale, Texas, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, Oct. 7, 2011, from injuries he sustained in an accident in Louisiana while driving tractor-trailer.
Born on Feb. 18, 1971 in the Montrose Hospital, Montrose, PA he attended the Montrose Area School District where he graduated high school in 1990. He was a member of the high school marching band, playing the Tuba. He was also a graduate of Baker College in Michigan, along with serving our country while he was a member of the U.S. Army from 1990-1994. He was a former Lawsville, PA, resident.
Kevin is survived by his parents, Louis Clinton Hicks and Margie Joyce Deuel Hicks; a sister, Jennifer Hicks Droddy, and brother-in-law, Donald Droddy.
He leaves behind his wife, Lori Jones; a daughter, Ashlee Starr Hicks; a son, Austin Hunter Hicks; nieces and nephews, Amelia Mae Droddy, Elijah Don Droddy, Finnegan Louis Droddy and Willow Anne Droddy; mother and father-in-law, Gary and Carolyn Jones, and a brother-in-law, Josh Jones.
Kevin’s family was his life. He also enjoyed his job as a truck driver the past 16 years, receiving many accolades for his excellent driving record. He was a fan of the Pittsburg Steelers, enjoyed playing video games and watching CNN.
He will be sorely missed by his family and friends.
