Louise Ingham Kintner Woznicki,80

Mrs. Louise Ingham Kintner Woznicki, age 80, of Taylor Avenue, Wyalusing, PA passed away peacefully on Friday, July 30, 2004 at the Robert Packer Hospital, after a brief illness.

Louise was born Oct. 13, 1923 in Wyalusing, a daughter of the late Moses S. and Lydia May Ingham Kintner. She graduated from Wyalusing High School, a member of the Class of 1942. She married Frank Woznicki of Plains on Aug. 8, 1952. They resided in Wyalusing their entire lives. Frank predeceased her on Dec. 23, 1990.

Louise was an active member of the Wyalusing Presbyterian Church and also a member of the Fidelis Class. She was an active volunteer with the Red Cross and recently received a twenty-year award. Earlier in her life, she was involved with various civic organizations.

Surviving are a sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Robert Brown of Wyalusing; sisters-in-law and spouse, Betty Marshall and Louise Wildrick, both of Wyalusing, Leona and Keith Dunklee of Laurel, MD, Theresa Kintner of Towanda; a brother-in-law, Carl Woznicki of Athens, TN; several nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Francis Woznicki, III; a sister and spouse, Jane and John Corbett of Wallingford and a brother, E. Ingham Kintner of Wyalusing.

A memorial service was held on Tuesday, Aug. 3 at 2 p.m. at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 1 Grovedale Lane, Wyalusing, with the Rev. Barry R. Ballard, pastor, and the Rev. Norman A. Robinson, retired pastor, officiating. Interment was in the Wyalusing Cemetery.

Friends called at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m.

The family provided flowers and suggests that memorials be directed to the Wyalusing Presbyterian Church, PO Box 25, Wyalusing, PA 18853.
