Ray Bruce Inman, 69,
Ray Bruce Inman, 69, of 393 Marbaker Rd., Laceyville, PA, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011. Born in Sayre on Jan. 26, 1942, he was the son of late Alice V. Inman.
He was a graduate of Wyalusing Valley High School, Class of 1961. Following high school Ray worked for the Grange National Bank and Laceyville Borough for many years. He attended Transue Community Church. He was very fond of animals and gave some lucky homeless strays a loving home.
Surviving are brothers. Eugene Inman of Meshoppen and Charles Slater and his wife, Sharon of Laceyville; sisters, Pauline Brekke of New Jersey, Lillian Louise Franks of Waverly, NY and Lucy Mae Hamilton of Windsor, NY, and an aunt, Shirley McManus of Conklin, NY. He is also survived by numerous cousins and many nieces and nephews. Besides his mother, Ray was preceded in death by his sisters, Annabel Inman and Ruth May Pickett.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, Nov. 25 at 11 a.m. from the Sheldon Funeral Homes, Main St., Laceyville, with Rev. Charles Bishop of the Transue Community Church officiating. Interment will be at the families' convenience.
