Motorists Can Expect Delays on Brewer Hollow Road
The Wyalusing Township Supervisors announced this week that improvement work has begun on the Brewer Hollow Road. Motorists traveling on this road may experience delays.
The work will cover a three-mile portion of the road that will begin at the upper end of the Cargill property and continue to the intersection with Beacon Hill Road. All of the costs for the work is being underwritten by Chesapeake Energy. Work will begin with replacement of several sluice pipes.
The next stage of the project will be a full-depth reclamation with soil cement being added during the grinding process. Drainpipes will be installed along the outside edges of the road, and an asphalt surface will be applied.
Homeowners on this road are urged to use caution during this improvement process. Other travelers are encouraged to choose a different route. Work on the road is expected to be completed by the third week of August.
