College Roundup: Schulze Concludes Rookie Campaign at Keystone
Lindsay Schulze, a Wyalusing Valley graduate and member of Keystone College’s women’s soccer team, recently completed her freshman season.
She scored two goals in five shots on goal for the Giants, who finished with a 6-10-1 record. Schulze played in 15 games.
Squier, a former Elk Lake runner and member of the Philadelphia Biblical cross country team, competed in the Colonial States Athletic Conference championship meet at Keystone College on Oct. 29. She was 13th, overall, in 22:36 for PBU.
The Crimson Eagles were third in the team standings with 126 points. Marywood won the title with 22 points.
Mowry, an Elk Lake graduate and member of the Baptist Bible College women’s soccer team, had a shot on goal in a 3-2 win over Cedar Crest on Oct. 25.
On Oct. 26, in the NCCAA East Region semifinals, Mowry had a shot in a 3-1 win over Philadelphia Biblical.
Brown, a Wyalusing Valley graduate and member of the Mansfield University sprint football team, started at cornerback and had one tackle in a 34-0 win over C.W. Post on Oct. 29.
Bedell, an Elk Lake graduate and member of the Campbell University cross country team, finished 56th, overall, in the Big South Conference championship meet with a time of 27:02.
Campbell was fourth in the team standings with 120 points. Liberty won the title with 33 points.
In the same race, Tunkhannock graduate Reece Ayers, competing for High Point, finished 16th in 25:21. High Point finished second with 40 points.
