Lyle Williams Tournament Benefits St. Agnes School

Registration is open for the sixth annual Lyle Williams Golf Tournament, which benefits St. Agnes School in Towanda. The tournament is slated for Saturday, July 23, at the Towanda Country Club (TCC).

The tournament is in memoriam to the late Lyle Williams, a life member of Professional Golfers’ Association of America, who spent his career playing and teaching golf. To date, the tournament has raised over $43,000 for St. Agnes School.

Team play begins with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. The format is a captain and crew scramble.

The cost is $75 per player, which includes cart, greens fees, continental breakfast, lunch and prizes. Non-golfing guests may attend the lunch for $20.

To register, or to sponsor a hole for $100, contact St. Agnes School at (570) 265-6803 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Fridays. Interested participants may also call Lynda Williams at (607) 737-3956.

Tournament registration applications are also available at TCC or online at www.edline.net/pages/StAgnes.

Checks are payable to St. Agnes School, Lyle Williams Tournament.

St. Agnes School was established in 1877 to challenge students through a program of academic excellence created in a Christ-centered environment so they may become responsible citizens within their church and community.
