Running Roundup: Wadas Wins Memorial Day Race
Chris Wadas won the Old Fort Five Miler in Forty Fort on May 30 with a time of 26:26.
Dan Pszeniczny was second in 27:59, followed by Jess Adams in 28:47.
Deedra Porfirio was the top female finisher with a time of 32:01. Danielle Gall was second in 34:42, followed by Ann Zornaski in 35:07.
Wilkes-Barre Fitness Challenge
On May 28, Brennan Morton was the overall winner with a time of 13:01, followed by Phillip Semenza (14:08) and Kyle Morahan in 15:30.
Kaitlin Marino was the top female with a time of 19:28, followed by Pam Stoshak (21:06) and Julie Grilz (23:01).
Go for the Extra Mile
At Owego, NY, on May 22, Nick Reynolds topped a field of 104 runners and walkers who supported the Prader-Willi Syndrome benefit race.
Reynolds finished in 19:17, ahead of Randy Reynolds (19:33) and Andy Coots (20:11).
Janine Fitzgerald was first among women and eighth, overall, with a time of 20:51. Kathleen Lantry was next in 22:11, followed by Jennifer Smith in 23:24.

At Berwick, on May 21, Bob Yonick won the race in 19:26, followed by David Hoffman (20:23) and Wade Joline (20:33).
Ann Sick was the top female with a time of 21:31, followed by Debra Long (21:38) and Shani Steward (22:56).
