Aeppli, McNeil Win TCC Invitational

Wyalusing’s Bucky Aeppli and his playing partner, Scott McNeil, won the Towanda Country Club Invitational after rains from Hurricane Irene forced the cancellation of the third and final round on Sunday, Aug. 28. The pair shot 18-under 126 through the first two rounds at Wysox. They were four strokes ahead of Mike Dalton and Tim Rose, who finished at 14-under 130.

 

3-D Archery Shoot Slated

The Valley YHEC Club will host a 3-D archery shoot on Sunday, Sept. 11, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The grounds are located a mile south of Rome on Rt. 187. There will be 30 targets and refreshments are available.

Fall Prospect Clinic Set

The Mansfield University Fall Prospect Clinic is slated for Sunday, Oct. 9, at Shaute Field, beginning with registration at 9:30 a.m. Designed for high school level baseball players looking to play at the college or professional level, the clinic will focus on skill development.
