The Bradford County coroner has released additional information about the triple homicide and suicide that occurred on Friday, June 14 at 1322 Gooseneck Road in Wyalusing.

On Friday, 31-year-old Jesse Lee Northrup killed his mother, stepfather, and an employee of his father’s before fatally shooting himself, Bradford County Coroner Tom Carman said.

The shootings occurred at Northrup’s house.

Northrup used a handgun to kill his mother, 60-year-old Candy Diane Bidlack, and his stepfather, 54-year-old Edwin L. Bidlack Jr., Carman said. Northrup also used the handgun to kill 48-year-old Johnnie B. Johnson, Carman said.

Edwin L. Bidlack Jr. operated a company, Ed Bidlack Heating Co., out of an office in a garage on the property, and Johnson was employee of that company, the coroner said.

The bodies of the shooter and the three victims were all found in separate locations on the property, state police at Towanda said.

The shootings occurred sometime between the late morning and late afternoon on Friday.

Northrup was a 2006 graduate of Wyalusing Valley High School.

Northrup had posted a photo of a handgun on his Facebook page a day before the shootings occurred.

Autopsies on all four of the deceased people will be conducted on Sunday, the coroner said.
